Why start this blog
Why start this blog? I had a dream(Dont worry - i dream often) to build a city. Since the origin of the thought, i used to think about how i could build that city. Over time i came to know that building a concrete jungle is not what i want but something like buy a huge tract of barren land and facilitate development in that area i.e. watch and facilitate the development of a natural city. Facilitating development would require providing conditions and reasons for people to live in that place. And i think the most basic and important things that i should know for doing this are climatology(most of the natural big cities are developed on mountaineous regions where rainfall levels are high), soil(most of the natural big cities have huge tracts of fertile land around them) and evolutionary biology(provides hints on how people get to flourish in a place). |
